Vintage fashion, recycling and a talk from a model-maker were enjoyed by art students.
Year 10 and 11 students from across the Medway Towns took part in a creative enterprise day at the University College for the Creative Arts.
Around 120 students were encouraged to use innovative and creative thinking, and raise awareness of environmental and ecological issues.
The day comprised workshops led by industry professionals and designers. Students worked with recycled and re-usable materials, exploring vintage fashion, alternatives to plastic carrier bags and ideas for improving the environmental impact of using public and private transport.
Following a showcase of the students’ workshop creations, Gillingham and Rainham MP, Paul Clark, awarded certificates of achievement.
