A MEDWAY man has been arrested in connection with an attempted robbery early on Saturday morning.

Officers went to Canterbury Street, Gillingham, near to the entrance of Gillingham Park at about 3.30 following reports a man in his 30s had been the victim of an attempted robbery.

A 21-year-old man from Gillingham was arrested and has been bailed until April 22..
