Olympic champion and soon-to-be Strictly star Adam Peaty met with aspiring young swimmers from Kent.
Fresh from his Tokyo triumph, the swimming sensation visited the pool at Strood Sports Centre.
He spoke to them on Saturday about what it takes to become a gold medallist and break world records.
Adam is running 10 race clinics across the country following his victory in the 100m breaststroke in the Olympics.
His title was the first gold Team GB won in Japan and he also made history at the Games by becoming the first British swimmer to defend an Olympic crown.
It was the second time he had visited the Medway Towns and the children, aged eight to 18, found out what it takes to become a successful champion from the man himself.
Cllr Howard Doe, Medway Council portfolio holder for housing and community services, said: “We were pleased to welcome Adam Peaty and his team back to Medway as part of their national race clinic tour.
"Adam is an inspiration to many young swimmers and it was fantastic to meet him and congratulate him on his recent Olympic success.
"Medway has fantastic sporting facilities and has produced some great sporting stars.
"We are committed to ensuring our children and young people achieve their full potential and hosting the race clinic in Strood supports our aspiration to become a Child-Friendly City, putting young people at the heart of everything we do.”
The Towns have a host of swimming clubs, triathlon groups and use the wide-range of facilities available across Medway, which are part of the council's bid to be named UK City of Culture 2025.
