A secondary school teacher is under investigation amid allegations of inappropriate behaviour at a sixth-form prom.
It follows an incident at The Commissioner’s House, Chatham Dockyard, on June 21.
The venue was hosting the end-of-school party for the Hundred of Hoo Academy.
The school, which has 1,400 pupils on its roll aged between four and 19, is run by the Leigh Academies Trust.
It is not known whether anybody has been suspended while the investigation is ongoing.
In a statement this morning, trust spokesman Richard Taylor said: "We can confirm the academy is currently investigating an incident of alleged unprofessional conduct involving a teacher.
"The Hundred of Hoo Academy expects the highest professional standards from teachers at all times and as such we take any such breaches of conduct seriously.
"If any parents have any concerns about this matter they should contact the principal..." Richard Taylor
"The investigation will determine the most appropriate course of action and will involve taking advice from appropriate authorities.
"If any parents have any concerns about this matter they should contact the principal, Emma Elwin."
Mr Taylor added: "As you will appreciate, we can't make any further comment at this time as the investigation is ongoing."
The school was in the headlines last year after head teacher Gary Vyse took his own life.
