A teenager has been charged after a raid on a home in Gillingham.

The door of a house in Nelson Road was forced open and a luxury watch, other jewellery and cash were stolen between the evening of December 18 and the early hours of December 19.

Aaron Ellis was then arrested on suspicion of the offence on the morning of February 28.

The 19-year-old, of Franklin Road in Gillingham, has since been charged with one count of burglary and bailed to attend Medway Magistrates’ Court on April 9.
