Teenager charged with dangerous driving after crash

A young motorist from West Yorkshire, has been arrested and bailed on suspicion of dangerous driving, after a crash in Marlborough Road, Gillingham, yesterday evening. Police were called to the road just before 7pm after a Ford focus has apparently struck two cars which were parked there.

No one was injured in the accident but officers had to divert traffic while the three damaged vehicles were recovered.

A spokesman for Medway Police said: "A 19-year-old man from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of dangerous driving.

He has been released on bail until Friday, May 22, pending further investigations.
