Two teenagers have been arrested after a woman was allegedly assaulted near a town’s McDonald’s.

The incident occurred in Chatham High Street around 6.50pm last night.

Police temporarily cordoned off the area near McDonald’s while forensic teams attended.

The woman was taken to hospital for treatment.

A boy and a girl, both 16, were arrested on suspicion of assault and have since been bailed while inquiries into the incident continue.
