Two boys have been accused of spending cash on stolen bankcards and stealing a car.
A 17-year-old of Lewisham and a 16-year-old of Orpington have been charged with burglary, theft, eight counts of fraud and driving without a licence or insurance.
This comes after police were called to a burglary in Stafford Street, Gillingham, at 8am on Wednesday.
A set of car keys and a wallet containing bankcards were taken.
The victim's car was driven away and eight fraudulent purchases were made using the stolen cards.
Following inquiries, officers arrested the two young men.
Both were released on bail to appear at Medway Youth Court on Tuesday, October 16.
The 16-year-old was released on conditional bail and will appear at South East London Youth Court in Bromley.
A warrant for the 17-year-old's arrest as he did not attend Medway Magistrates' Court.
