A man has been jailed for three months after admitting to multiple thefts from a supermarket.
Ashleigh Webb stole on five occasions from the Tesco Express in Pier Road, Gillingham between April 19 and May 17.
The 45-year-old placed large amounts of coffee and confectionary items in shopping bags hidden by his coat and left without paying.
In total the items were worth up to £240.
Webb, of James Street, Gillingham was arrested last Thursday and charged with five counts of theft.
He pleaded guilty the next day at Medway Magistrates Court and was sentenced to three months in prison.
