Jordan Ravehill, aka the Primark Busker, takes to the stage at a town centre venue next month.
Hot on the heels of his sell-out gig at Rochester Cathedral and warming up for the Sugababes at the Castle Gardens concert, Jordan will be performing at Chatham’s Central Theatre.
The musician got his nickname after busking outside the popular discount store in Chatham High Street and in Rainham shopping precinct. His latest gig is at the High Street theatre on Thursday, March 21.
The 26-year-old, who lives with his gran in Rainham, continues to play at private gigs including weddings and parties.
He started busking at the age of 15 at his local shopping centre and then moved to a prime regular spot outside Primark.
Earlier last year, Jordan did a solo show to a sell-out audience in the cathedral’s medieval nave in front of an audience of more than 500 people, the biggest performance of his musical journey.
His lucky break came after the cathedral’s events manager Carrie Ryder and her eight-year-old daughter Grace bumped into him busking outside the store.
He believes he got the Castle Concert gig with girl band royalty, the Sugababes after being spotted crooning away in England’s second-oldest cathedral
Curtain up for the show, called The Impossible to the Possible, is 8pm
The Box Office is open from 10am to 5pm and you can book tickets by visiting Medway Tickets Live or phoning 01634 338 338.
