Firefighters tackled a blaze at a derelict house in Strood last night - just days after two other suspicious fires in Medway.
Crews were called to Vicarage Road at about 11pm to find the property well alight.
The fire, on the first floor, spread to the loft and a ladder was used by crews who removed roof tiles to get to the blaze.
At its height, about 15 firefighters from Medway, Strood and Thames-side were on the scene tackling the flames.
The cause of the fire is now being investigated.
No one was injured in the latest incident, but police have cordoned off the scene and will be carrying out forensic investigations later today.
Meanwhile, flames took hold at the disused Mak's Curry Nest in Rochester High Street on Saturday. And there was a blaze at The Market Cafe, in Corporation Street, Rochester, on Sunday night.
All three fires are being treated as suspicious, but they have not been formally linked by police.
