One lane of the M2 blocked by three-vehicle crash between Junction 3 for Chatham and 4 for Gillingham

Police were called after an accident on the coastbound M2 this evening.

Three vehicles are believed to have been involved in the crash near Junction 4 for Gillingham.

It happened at 5.20pm and a police spokesman said people had suffered minor injuries.

Traffic was moving slowly, she added, although all lanes are understood to now be open.
