POLICE are hunting a gang of youths carrying pieces of wood after a man walking his dog was threatened. The man came across the four youths at Sallyport Gardens in Brompton, Gillingham, and one threatened him and threw the wood at him.

The man was not hit and the gang was last seen heading towards Brompton High Street. The incident happened at about 8pm on Saturday and the youths are believed to be aged 15 to 17.

Police have issued description of three youths they are looking for, one with a black mountain bike, another wearing a light coloured jacket and a third described as being of mixed race.
