Chatham's Venbee has been talking to kmfm about her phenomenal success thanks to TikTok.
The singer, whose real name is Erin, has had global success on the app with videos reaching more than 1.5 million views.
Speaking to kmfm, she said "TikTok is the reason I'm here".
Since releasing the song on the social media platform, one of her most successful songs, Messy in Heaven, has been streamed more than 10 million times on Spotify.
She takes her influence from artists such as Billie Eilish and Fleetwood Mac and says she has a broad range of influences from all over the world.
The artist says most of her songs are written about nights out with her friends.
She says her best nights out are at Casino Rooms in Rochester and Tap 'n' Tin in Chatham and describes the venue as "a little den of people who just want to party".
The artist also says she enjoys walks along the River Medway in Chatham to clear her mind.
Venbee has also been diagnosed with ADHD which she says allows her to write songs very quickly.
She wrote her best-seller Messy in Heaven in just 20 minutes and said: "I have a very small period of time to get an idea out."
Venbee will be going on tour across the UK in February and March next year.
She will be performing at The Courtyard Theatre in London on March 2 next year. Tickets are on sale for £13.25.
She hopes to provide a "barrel of tunes" for the audience with six new songs set to be released soon.
