There is still time to join our popular children's photo contest - Cute Kids 2012.

The competition has been revamped this year with a prize pot of £2,000 awaiting the winners.

Photographers from Starlight Studios have been at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre since last Monday taking pictures of smiling youngsters.

Cheeky four-month-old Charlie, pictured above with mum Heidi Evans and photographer Stacey Wimbledon, was one of the little ones who turned on his best smile.

The photographers will be at the centre until this coming Saturday.

It's absolutely free to enter and never been easier to take part.

All you need to do is turn up to the temporary studios outside Boots, where we'll do the rest - there's no need to book.

Later, every picture will appear in the Medway Messenger and the voting will begin.

The top three from two age categories will be judged by a panel and two overall winners announced at a special ceremony at the shopping centre.

They will follow in the footsteps of last year's champion, cute Caiden Gant from Allhallows.
