Tom Dallas completed a first round knockout of Latvian Jevgenijs Stamburskis and is already eyeing up his biggest challenge yet in the New Year.
The fight in Newport, Wales was over in just 2mins 40secs as Gillingham-fighter Dallas made light work of his latest opponent.
Stamburskis was a late replacement for Carl Baker, who pulled out through injury, and he offered little resistance for Dallas, who made it eight wins from eight in his professional career.
"It was quick and easy," said the 24-year-old. "He hit me once on the back of the head while we went into a clench and that was all he did.
"I did think I might take my time in the fight but when the bell went I just went to knock him out as soon as possible.
"I threw loads of punches and caught him with some nice shots. I ended up with a right to the body and a left to the head and down he went. It’s nice to be knocking people out and that’s six in a row now."
Dallas is now focusing his energy on stopping southpaw Baker. That fight has been rescheduled for Friday, January 22, at the Brentwood Sports Centre in Essex.
