Traffic has built up in Gillingham this morning following an incident at Gads Hill.
Motorists on the northern link were stuck in jams after police cordoned off a stretch of the road from Yokosuka Way.
One driver, who passed the scene, said a man was lying in the road and it looked as though he had been knocked over.
A small red saloon car was parked at an angle blocking one side of the carriageway.
Other drivers were trying to find a route into work via central Gillingham.
Police arrived on the scene at about 7.30am.
