Traffic is being held on the M2 as police deal with an 'incident' on the Medway Bridge.

Officers have closed off the coastbound carriageway between Junction 2 for Strood and Junction 3 for Chatham.

Drivers are facing lengthy delays and are being advised to avoid the area.

The emergency services have been contacted for comment.
