Parents who died after a horror crash on the A228 have been named as Lindsay Slater, 30, and 29-year-old Tom Gregory from Strood.
Their two little girls - aged four and seven - who were also in the car escaped with minor injuries.
They are now being cared for by relatives in the area after being orphaned in the tragedy.
Ms Slater was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on Peninsula Way, Hoo, at about 3.50pm on Saturday.
Mr Gregory was airlifted to hospital, but died the following day.
The silver Peugeot they were travelling in on the Medway-bound carriageway ended up in a nearby field after hitting a road sign.
Floral tributes and messages have been left at the crash site this week.
Emergency services including fire crews, paramedics and two air ambulances were called to the scene and passers-by rushed to help rescue the girls from the car.
Witness Taylor-Marie Thomson wrote on Twitter: "The car was completely crushed. Seeing the state of that car has literally made me feel sick to the stomach and close to tears."
Officers from the Kent Police serious collision investigation unit are investigating the collision.
