Trains were cancelled this morning after a man was hit by a train.
Services were suspended while emergency services dealt with the incident on the line between Strood and Gravesend.
It happened at 7.30am when British Transport Police attended the line near Gravesend along with paramedics.
A 50-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and officers are working to identify them.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Replacement buses were ordered to allow people to travel along the route between Rochester and Strood, and also between Strood, Gravesend and Dartford.
The line reopened at around 10am and normal service resumed by midday.
