An inquest has opened into the death of a man found dead following a major search.
The hearing this morning heard how Rory Baldwin's body was discovered in a gap between a cliff and shed in Oliver Twist Close in Rochester.
The 26 year old been reported missing after getting separated from friends in the early hours of Saturday, July 31.
He'd been on a night out in the town and was headed to a friend's house when he went missing.
A major emergency service search was launched included a helicopter.
Mid Kent and Medway coroner Bina Patel was told how the former Rainham Mark pupil was found around 6.30pm on Sunday, August 1.
Police received a call from a woman who said she could see a trainer on top of her neighbour's shed.
Mr Baldwin was identified by officers at the scene and his family informed.
A post mortem later found he had suffered a hemorrhage due to a "blunt chest trauma".
The hearing at County Hall, Maidstone, was postponed for the full inquest to take place on October 27.
