Trains were delayed after an incident involving “a man and trains” was reported to police.

Southeastern tweeted at around 5.34pm that services through Gillingham were delayed due to the incident.

Officers were called and said to be on their way.

At 5.53pm, Southeastern said trains were moving again but passengers faced delays of 20 minutes.

They said a trespasser had been spotted on the railway bridge.

Police and Southeastern have been asked for more information.
