Travellers have set up camp at a shopping centre car park.

The group arrived at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre last night.

They were previously spotted in Beechings Playing Field, in Twydall and Medway Park, in Mill Road, Gillingham.

Staff at the shopping centre, in Sharsted Way, Hempstead, have notified the council and police.

As it is a private site, bailiffs have been called to remove the travellers.
