A man is being questioned by police in connection with the murder of a father of two from Strood.
Scaffolder Xhem Krasniqi, 31, was killed following a shooting in Hove on Saturday, May 18.
Sussex police said that they had arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of conspiracy to murder as he arrived back at Gatwick Airport over the weekend.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “The man was arrested as he flew back into Gatwick Airport at 5.10pm on Sunday, May 26.
“He remains in custody for questioning.”
It comes after three other men were arrested at the weekend in connection with the killing.
Detectives questioned a 26-year-old and a 30-year-old from the Hove area.
Another man, also 30, from the Scaynes Hill area of East Sussex has also been arrested. All three were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
They have now all been released on bail until July 18.
Scaffolder Mr Krasniqi, 31, was shot in the abdomen and was taken to hospital, but later died.
The Albanian national was in Brighton with his wife and their four-year-old daughter and son of seven before trouble broke out at about 11.30pm.
Two men with Mr Krasniqi were uninjured and police are treating their shootings as attempted murder.
The arrested trio are also suspected of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and are currently in police custody.
Police believe a dispute between two warring families could have led to the murder of Mr Krasniqi and are continuing to hunt his killer.
On Wednesday, they revealed they believe he was murdered by 30-year-old Edmund Nela.
Officers are still seeking Nela and and warned members of the public not to approach them.
Mr Krasniqi's family earlier paid tribute to a "devoted family man".
They said: "Xhem was a loving and devoted family man living a normal life in Kent.
"He worked very hard as a scaffolder and was a good provider for his wife and children.
"He loved his family and friends very much and was the type of man who would do anything for anyone.
"He was a father of a four-year-old girl and a seven-year-old boy who miss their Daddy very much."
