Three people are in police custody having been arrested on suspicion of running a brothel.

Officers made the arrest on Monday in Delce Road, Rochester, after earlier receiving reports brothel was being run from a property in the road.

When police went to the address they arrested two people, a woman aged 39 and a 53-year-old man, who are both from Rochester, on suspicion of running a brothel.

A woman, aged 26, was arrested a short time later in Beechings Road, Lordswood.

She was also arrested on suspicion of running the establishment.

All three people were also arrested on suspicion of entering the UK illegally.

The trio remain in police custody at this time while officers carry out further inquiries.
