TV baking star Paul Hollywood swapped the kitchen for the racetrack as he demonstrated a new fleet of race karts at Buckmore Park today.
The event marks the official takeover of the Chatham-based circuit by motorsport legend John Surtees.
The 1964 Formula One World Champion and seven-time World Motorcycle Champion recently took over what is one of the area’s biggest attractions.
He has introduced 2016 model 50 Sodi RT8 390cc karts to the track, where F1 stars Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button famously honed their skills before making the big time.
As well as Mr Hollywood, who presents the Great British Bake Off, Formula Ford Championship winning driver Scott Malvern took TS10 Formula Two car around the circuit.
