A Twitter storm to give the Find Ben campaign a boost took place tonight.
It is nearly a week since Ben went for an evening out with his friends - he was last seen on CCTV early on Tuesday in the Sun Pier area of the town, after he went out on Monday night.
People are raising awareness on social media and posters featuring Ben's picture are being re-tweeted.
Many celebrities are getting involved, the latest is singer and TV personality Peter Andre.
John Challis who played Boycie in the popular BBC1 sitcom Only Fools and Horses has also supported efforts with a re-tweet.
Many are sending tweets to their favourite celebrities in the hope a re-tweet will help spread the word.
Others who have tweeted their legions of followers include This Morning Host, Phillip Schofield, TV presenter Davina McCall and TOWIE star Georgia Kousoulou.
Another search got underway for Ben today with people meeting in Rochester at lunchtime.
The Find Ben group has also been coating shops and businesses with posters and a boost was given when bus company Arriva agreed to display posters.
Every bus driver arriving for work was given a poster and were made aware of Ben's plight.
Medway Coastguard has also been scouring the river at low tide.
