Two people have been arrested over an alleged assault in Hoo.

Police were called to Knights Road at around 6.15pm yesterday.

A man believed to be in his 40s was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital for treatment after sustaining cuts to his wrists. He has since been discharged.

A 45-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man, both from Medway, have been arrested in connection with the incident.

They both remain in custody.

SECAmb sent an ambulance and car to the scene and the man was initially treated at the scene.
