Two men have been remanded in custody after a victim was reportedly threatened with a firearm in Chatham.
An occupant of a black VW Golf is alleged to have exited the car and confronted a man in Melbourne Road, threatening him with a firearm.
The incident happened at about 2pm on Sunday, January 30.
Following police searches at several locations, an imitation firearm, blank rounds, cocaine and cannabis were uncovered from an address in London.
The VW Golf reported to be involved was also located at the same property.
A further quantity of cannabis was seized from an address in Croydon.
Kinley Abrahams and Imani Abrahams have since been charged with possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and being concerned in the supply of cannabis.
Kinley Abrahams, 43, of Hither Green, has additionally been charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply and possessing cannabis with intent to supply. He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and was remanded in custody to attend crown court next month.
Imani Abrahams, 21, of Lower Sydenham, appeared before magistrates on Thursday and was remanded in custody until next month.
