Three people have been taken to hospital after a pile-up on the M2 this morning.
Kent Police said the London-bound slip road at junction two for Cuxton could remain closed until about 1.30pm after the five-car crash.
Commuters faced rush-hour chaos after the smash at about 8am - just moments after a lorry overturned nearby.
South East Coast Ambulance Service said three people - including an elderly woman - were taken to hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries after the multi-vehicle crash.
Paramedics, Kent Police and firefighters from Medway, Strood and Thames–side stations were called to the scene, with reports of two people trapped.
Meanwhile, one man has been taken to hospital with minor injuries after a lorry overturned on the A228 Sundridge Hill roundabout at Cuxton at about 7.40am.
The A228 is closed from Medway Valley Park to the Sundridge Hill roundabout while the overturned lorry is recovered. The road remained closed until about 3pm.
