Two men have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash last night.
Emergency services were called to Town Road in Cliffe Woods, Rochester at about 6pm after two cars collided.
The crash caused lengthy delays in the area last night as crews worked at the scene.
Two fire engines attended, and firefighters used various cutting tools and hydraulic rescue equipment to help paramedics free one of the men, who was trapped.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers and paramedics attended the scene where both drivers were treated for serious injuries.
“They were taken to a London hospital for further medical attention, while arrangements were made to recover the vehicles.”
The injuries are not described as life-threatening.
