Two motorists have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash on a crossroads.
Two fire engines attended the collision involving two vehicles at the junction of Lee Green Road and Town Road, Cliffe Woods.
Crews used cutting equipment to release one person from their vehicle last night just after 6.30pm.
They spent 45 minutes at the scene, which was also attended by police.
A spokesman for the force said: “Officers and paramedics attended the scene where both drivers were treated for serious injuries.
“They were taken to a London hospital for further medical attention, while arrangements were made to recover the vehicles.”
