Two people have been taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries following a crash on the A228.

Police were called to a collision involving a car and a motorbike in Cuxton Road, Strood at 7.30am.

Ambulance crews attended and were joined at the scene by the air ambulance service.

Two people have been taken to King's College Hospital in London with potentially serious injuries.

One patient was airlifted to hospital while the other was taken by road.

The road was closed in both directions and officers remained at the scene to redirect traffic. It has since reopened.
