Two women were injured in a crash in Lordswood this afternoon.

Firefighters were called to North Dane Way at 2.10pm after a van and a car collided outside the refuse tip.

They freed one of the women who was trapped inside a vehicle and made the scene safe.

Both women are not thought to have been seriously injured in the crash and were treated at the scene by paramedics.
