A GP says she has had to postpone 80 Covid vaccinations because a batch was not delivered in time.
Dr Yvette Rean, from The Medical Centre in Waltham Road, Twydall, near Gillingham, said in a tweet on Sunday: "I'm going to shout now.
"Having spent weeks organising these Covid vaccines and getting 975 patients booked in we have been told they won't be arriving on Mon (Monday) as planned but Tues (Tuesday) some time.
"I have 80 patients booked for Tues AM."
Dr Rean had to postpone appointments for 80 patients who had all arranged transport and described how it was unfair on patients and staff.
She added that the delay meant her surgery was left with three-and-half days to carry out nearly 1,000 vaccinations.
A spokesman for the NHS said: "Practices will start vaccinating once all the necessary safety checks have been completed, and when surgeries can demonstrate they meet updated guidance."
The spokesman said hundreds were ready to vaccinate this week "thanks to the hard work of GPs, nurses, pharmacists and other primary care staff".
The Medical Centre has been approached for a comment.
