A van ended up in trees after colliding with another on Blue Bell Hill.

Emergency crews were called to the A229 at Chatham following the crash shortly after midday.

Onlookers said two Transit-like vehicles were damaged, with one having a huge dent to the rear and another in the trees.

Police say the accident happened on the northbound carriageway, with officers attending to help with traffic management.

No serious injuries were reported.
