Queues have formed on a motorway due to an overturned van.

Drivers can expect delays heading London-bound on the M2 between junction 5 A249 Stockbury Roundabout near Sittingbourne and junction 4 A278 Hoath Way in Gillingham.

All traffic was initially being held following the crash just after 3pm but lanes have since been reopened.

Work to remove the overturned van is continuing with an estimated end-time to be around 6.45pm and 7pm.

Traffic conditions are also expected to return to normal around a similar time.
