Vandals kicked down freshly planted trees just 30 minutes after they were planted.
The saplings were put in Beechings Way, Twydall, by a contractor for Medway Council on Tuesday but were quickly ripped from the ground.
Dog walker Jacky Pack said: "All the trees have now been replanted. Local dog walkers, myself included, have been picking them up."
Jacky explained that the gardening team finished their work at 4pm on Tuesday and when she took her dog out for a walk at 4.30pm someone had already kicked them over.

Medway Council was made aware of the incident.
Sarah Valdus, head of environmental services at Medway Council, said: “We are very disappointed that a number of trees appear to have been vandalised shortly after they were planted.
"When our contractor returned to replant them they found that members of the local community had already replanted them and we would like to thank them for their hard work.”
