Rapper Vanilla Ice is getting ready for his pantomime debut in Chatham.

The American pop star, who has sold more than seven million albums worldwide after launching his career with the hit single Ice Ice Baby, is dressed to impress as Captain Hook.

He will play the villainous pirate captain in Peter Pan at the Central Theatre from December 8.

Vanilla Ice, who competed in ITV’s Dancing on Ice in February, was delighted when he saw the flamboyant Hook costume. Writing on Twitter, he said: “Get your tickets, I promise you have never seen anything like this!”
