The scene of vandalism
and voices of those affected
People living in a road targeted by vandals overnight yesterday
have reacted with anger this morning (Friday).
At least 20 cars were sprayed and scratched in
three roads in Chatham.
Houses were also sprayed with the words "EVIL", "Bad Boys", and
"V".
The roads targeted were Wyndham Road, Neville Road, and Dale
Street.
One woman, living in Dale Street, said: “It
makes you wonder about peoples’ mentality, that they need to go
around and do this.”
Another man, living in Wyndham Road, said:
“I’m angry, upset, but to be honest the feeling seems to be we know
that nothing will get done again.”
Police arrived just at around 9am.
A reporter at the scene said: "People are
angry and upset about it. They are in the street talking about
it."
