announces the winner of the Pride in Medway award

Clutching his award and beaming with
pride, this is the winner of our 10th Pride in Medway Awards.

Fundraising marathon runner and part-time school
caretaker Jack Denness picked up the title at a glitzy awards
ceremony.

Jack, 76, was overcome with emotion
when he was crowned the winner at Saturday night’s gala award
ceremony.

He was just one of 41 people at this
year’s event.

Each and every one received acclaim of
the audience, including fellow nominees, friends and family as well
as sponsors and civic VIPs.
