An award-winning food chain has opened its latest restaurant in the county.
Wagamama, which serves Asian food based on Japanese cuisine, opened its latest Kent branch at Dockside Shopping Outlet in Chatham on May 13.
The new venue, which is open seven days a week, has created 60 news jobs and is the 164th wagamama’s in the UK.
At its grand opening hundreds of guests came through the doors, with the katsu curry coming out on top as the most ordered dish of the day.
Its iconic menu serves up classic guest favourites, such as the chicken katsu, ramens and side dishes on their 50% plant-based menu.
Zizzi will also be coming to Chatham Maritime, opposite the Dockside Shopping Outlet in Medway on May 27.
Located at one of Chatham’s most popular destinations, the new restaurant has been designed for 172 covers which includes 48 external covers.
