Firefighters were called to put out a van which caught alight in Rochester.

A waste management vehicle was on fire in Roebuck Road, not far from St Margaret's Church.

One fire engine was sent to the scene.

The vehicle owner said: "I have just left the scene. I'm still waiting for the police."

Kent Fire & Rescue Service has been approached for comment.
