Lockdown may have put a hold on most things, but for one comedy writer it has opened the doors to a whole new world.
Robert Rivett, from Strood , has launched the Elimination podcast with his older brother Mike and dad Dave.
Watch: Episode one of the Elimination podcast
The show pits the UK's most-loved sitcoms against each other in knock-out style format, eventually whittling them down to one overall winner.
In August last year, Robert gained backing from John Challis, who played dodgy-dealer Boycie in John Sullivan's Only Fools and Horses.
The 38-year-old was inspired by the heated debates he and his family had during lockdown.
He said: "Dave was an avid podcast listener and jokingly said we should make our own and I said why not and off I went with my research.
"Dave made up the knock-out round idea and then I came up with the name Elimination but the problem was with only two people voting, we had the possibility of a draw, so we roped in Mike."
"My favourite sitcom is The Office. It inspired me to write my sitcom The Dump and it doesn't matter how many times I watch it, it makes me laugh.
"In a world which is so scary and angry at the moment we just want to be able to take people away for a few minutes for a laugh.
"We have plans for specials, and also we have decided what season two and three will be, but that is yet to be revealed – watch this space."
Elimination is now two months old and boasts 2,600 downloads across 24 countries.
