A town centre bank has been vandalised for a third time this year.
Windows and cash machines were damaged at Barclays in Chatham High Street between 3.40am and 4am yesterday (October 23).
Police say there is no indication an attempt was made to steal cash from the ATMs.
Officers were called following a report of criminal damage to three windows and two cash machines at the bank.
It is not the first time the bank has been vandalised this year.
In June, the same building was coated in red paint and its were windows smashed as part of a nationwide protest coordinated by a protest group Palestine Action.
Two weeks later, protesters returned to the same branch – smashing and spray painting it once again.
Observers noted shattered glass on the pavement and paint poured over cash machines.
Another branch of the bank was also targeted in Tunbridge Wells last month.
It is not known if Palestine Action is responsible for the latest report of criminal damage.
The group is a pro-Palestinian protest network that uses direct action tactics to target UK-based operations it believes are involved in the ongoing Israeli–Palestinian conflict.
