A 33-year-old woman is being quizzed by police following a stabbing.

The assault happened at a property in Gordon Road, Chatham, at around 10.40pm yesterday.

Police attended and the man was taken away for medical treatment.

Officers arrested the woman, who is known to the victim, and she remains in police custody while inquiries continue.

The man's injuries are not reported to be life threatening.
