A woman has been taken to hospital after being arrested on suspicion of assault.

Police were called to a disturbance at an address in Long Catlis Road, Gillingham, at around 3.40pm.

Officers attended and a woman was arrested on suspicion of assault.

She has since been taken to hospital as a precaution following the incident.

A large number of police vehicles were seen on the street as an investigation was carried out.

Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
