A man accused of approaching a woman he didn’t know and attacking her has appeared in court.
Mohammed Salah, 23, allegedly called out to the victim before assaulting them when they were told to go away.
The incident happened during the early hours of Tuesday, July 16, in Chatham.
Salah, of Coupland Place, London, was arrested and charged with assault by beating and criminal damage shortly after officers arrived and was appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court the following day.
He was conditionally bailed to a hearing at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 18 October.
