Woman charged over alleged school theft

A former school worker has been charged with allegedly stealing from her employer.

Sharon Haigh, 34, from Mallingdene Close, Cliffe has been charged with seven counts of theft, one of fraud, one of using a false instrument (forgery) and one of making a false instrument (forgery).

Haigh has been bailed until Thursday, May 28 when she will appear at Medway Magistrates for a plea hearing.

She is alleged to have carried out the offences whilst working at Cliffe Woods pre-school.
