A two-car crash forced the closure of a road while fire crews used the so-called jaws of life cutting gear to free a woman who had been trapped.
Firefighters were called to Brompton Farm Road in Strood at 5.20pm yesterday.
Two fire engines were sent to the scene of the accident and crews used hydraulic cutting gear to remove the roof of the car.
The woman, believed to be in her 40s, was put on a spinal board and was treated by medics. Crews left the scene just after 6pm.
